Blue Tango – The Text Scrambler –
This helper application allows
you to split your scrambled text into a series of smaller chunks. Products like Messenger © commonly limit a
single chat message to 400 characters.
If the original non-scrambled text was large or if the resulting
scrambled text ends up being too large, you may need to split the scrambled
text into chunks. This automatically
creates as many chunks as are needed to accommodate the maximum chunk
size. It will add tags to the ending and
beginning of split sections to tell the application how to reassemble it. Each chunk will automatically pop up and be
placed in the clipboard. After a chunk
pops up, you paste the clipboard contents into the message area of Messenger ©
and press "Send". The
recipient must first clear the scrambled plain text area and then will place
the first received chunk in there. Each
subsequent chunk should be appended at the end of the scrambled plain text
area. The "Unscramble It!"
button will recognize that the scrambled text is in chunks and will reassemble
it before attempting to unscramble it.
chunk number drop-down list
This shows the next chunk that will be loaded into the
clipboard. You can manually select which
chunk you want or you can simply let it progress naturally (when a chunk loads,
the drop-down list automatically moves up to the next chunk).
Load Chunk
Press this button to create the chunk shown in the drop-down
list. It also automatically will load
that chunk into the clipboard as plain text.
Info Msg
Press this button to create an informative message that you can
send before you start sending the chunks.
When this helper application first pops up, that message is already
loaded into the clipboard. But if you
need to generate it and load it into the clipboard once again, you can.
