general settings – options: <lowest-level tabs>

hide lower-level tabs that are not in use

The default mode is to hide the lower-level tabs that are not active at that moment to make it more obvious where you are in the application.  But that means you have to do a mouse click to get that row to appear.  As you get used to the application, having all immediately-accessible tabs always visible becomes nice.  You can do that by un-checking “hide lower-level tabs that are not in use”.

always on top

You can set Blue Tango to stay on top of all other applications by checking this option.  This may be more convenient when working with applications like messenger so that it is easier to move data between them.  Note that “always on top” means the application will try to stay on top.  Other applications also have that option available to them and if they are using it, then who’s on top becomes a little bit of a battle.

load free-form area initially scrambled

If you are a licensed, activated owner of the product, you can place information in the free-form area.  It will be saved in scrambled form as you leave and whenever you press “Save My Settings”.  The free-form information will initially load in scrambled form if this box is checked.  Otherwise it will load initially unscrambled.

set confirmation default to “Yes”

Sometimes you will be asked to confirm an action with a “Yes” or a “No”.  One of those two will be the default (and will act if you simply press “enter”).  You decide which is the default by setting this option.
